As the Founder & CEO of ImpactDev Africa, Janet provides leadership in the growth, outreach, and partnerships of ImpactDev Africa. She focuses primarily on strategic planning, general management, sustainability, and impact measurement and management. She has more than 15 years of professional experience working with high growth SME’s and Corporates in facilitating trade & investment within the emerging markets. Her areas of expertise are within international trade (trade facilitation & trade finance) , Impact investing and sustainability and entrepreneurship .
Previously she worked for various pan-African banks on senior international trade finance roles such as Ecobank, Stanbic (A subsidiary of Standard bank of S. Africa) and Investment & Mortgages Bank before building her own own transaction advisory & investment firm under ImpactDev Africa. Her vision is to address the lack of access to capital for African Small and Growing businesses & Startups with potential to deliver SDG’s and high impact within their communities and environs.
A 37-year career banker with 20 years of trade finance specialization covering various roles in different countries such as: - Co-Head Financial Institutions - Trade Finance based in South Africa for Standard Bank Group and Head of Trade Finance East Africa based in Kenya for 3 years with a strong Structured and Commodity Finance involvement, especially in the fuel business, Head of Trade Finance , Rest of Africa building the trade finance capability across 14 countries in the Business / Commercial Banking Divisions, Trade Finance and Financial Institutions Consultant to grow both businesses for a SBM Bank Mauritius. He has also served as Chairman, Moderator, and Panellist at Trade Finances conferences in South Africa, Kenya and in Mauritius. Currently he uses previous trade finance experiences to assist learners in work place adoption by moderating real life trade finance opportunities through feedback and advice. He is also an advisor to enterprises especially those focused on cross-border trade

She was a founding staff at ImpactDev Africa . Before joining the development world, Priscilla was a Credit Analyst at Standard Chartered Bank, Nairobi. She was a liaison between the client’s relationship manager and the credit office. Her role included advising SME’s on banking facilities that would enable their businesses to scale and maximize profit.
Priscilla Okutoyi is also a Consulting Fellow in the Nairobi office of Dalberg Global Advisors
As a consultant in Dalberg, Priscilla will work at the intersection of development and private sector engagement. She will be conducting extensive analysis in development areas, including investments, agriculture, energy, education, and gender, for various multilateral organisations, foundations, NGOs and government.
Priscilla holds a Masters in Development Economics and Diploma in Economics from SOAS University of London and a Bachelors in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi.

Paul has over seven years of experience working in the FMCG (Beverages), Financial Services and Consulting industries in Kenya, Rwanda & the United Kingdom. Paul is registered as a Chartered Manager with the chartered Management Institute in the United Kingdom and has a Level 7 diploma in strategic management and leadership from the same institution. Paul is adept at strategy development, analysis, evaluation and implementation of corporate, business and functional strategies as well as transaction advisory which includes due diligence, ratio analysis and valuation.

The financial manager of Mania company was his previous job title. Hesam graduated computer science in bachelor. He is doing MSc in Investment Analysis at Aston University.
